Can the Islanders really land Kovalchuk?

Is it worth it? For most teams 10 years and $100 million is a tough commitment to make. But when you are the New York Islanders, a team desperate to get an arena deal and sell out home games, it might make sense. It's also probably the only way to get a player like Ilya. Talk about it below...

  5. *Breaking News*: The management of the New York Islanders just announced they are in the running for Lebron James. As per Garth Snow:After we screwed our fans over and never made an offer to Kovalchuk,we weren't about to make that same mistake again,so we offered James what we feel is a contract he can't turn down.We feel James has the size we are looking for and for a big man he can really dish out the assists and score inside. We also wanted to add some color to our locker room.If James turns us down our plan B is to sign David Lee away from MSG.

  6. *Breaking News*Charles Wang, after being turn down by Lebron James, today announced they are removing Ryan Jankowski as assistant GM/director of Scouting.Wang stated "I spend all day overlooking all these nitwits that work for me,I might as well just have to look after one nitwit".Snow will now assume all the GM duties.Rumor has it that Mike Milbury is desperate to get his old job back and numerous sources have seen him hanging around a Nathans within minutes of NVMC,often sucking down a hot dog with fries.
